The rooms are laid out in a sequence that keeps comfort and daily use intact, and the plan takes an L shape that follows the form of the site. The house links the front garden with the inner courtyard and the rear garden, and it stands as an object within the garden. The corridor was planned so that the inner courtyard is borrowed into view through its windows, catching a visitor's interest and letting anyone walking the corridor take in both the garden and the courtyard from inside.
