'다람집'은 양평의 수려한 산세가 품에 안듯 다가오는 대지 위로, 낮고 길게 숨 쉬듯 내려앉아있다. 경사진 박공지붕과 수평으로 뻗은 매스는 주변 산등성이의 완만한 흐름을 고스란히 담아내고, 붉은 벽돌의 질감은 자연의 초록 속에서 차분하게 제 자리를 지킨다. 넓은 마당에서 깊은 처마 아래로 이어지는 완만한 동선은 실내의 일상을 자연으로 부드럽게 확장시킨다. 붉은 벽돌과 포근한 목재가 만들어내는 따스한 표정 속에서, 마당과 산세가 하나의 풍경으로 엮이며 일상의 여유가 깊어지는 특별한 안식처이다. Resting low and breathing quietly upon a site embraced by the scenic mountains of Yangpyeong, "Daramjib" mirrors the landscape with its sloped gable roof and horizontal massing that echoes the rolling ridges of the terrain. The texture of the red brick holds its serene place amidst the greenery of nature. A fluid spatial sequence extending from the expansive courtyard to beneath deep eaves gently extends indoor daily life into the outdoors. Within the warm character crafted by red brick and inviting wood, the yard and the mountain scenery weave together into a single landscape, offering a special sanctuary where everyday repose deepens.
